I celebrated my birthday on Saturday, August 6th, 2005 in San Antonio at Mission County Park with my conjunto: Sam, Adan, Pete, Celia, Jerry, Robert, Christina and my wonderful friends there! Thanks to Sam & Rose Rodriguez, Tony & Naida Rios and the boys, Atsuko, Charlie Smith & Lulu, Margaret Smith, the Olguin's, Mr. & Mrs. Rodolfo Lopez, Pete & Gloria, Esther & Serapio, Amy, Nelda (for the great dedications), Bene Medina, El Pavo, Carol, all my fans and everyone from the Conjunto Heritage Taller Organization!

After the gig, we had an awesome time at Christina and Robert Casillas! I wish to especially thank Rene and Gloria Saavedra for their hospitality! I love your beautiful home! The most comfortable beds in the world! I loved jamming on your porch til the wee hours of the night, or should I say morning? "Good night, Sam!!!" LOL!

The brisket and all the trimmings were delicious and so was breakfast! Mmmmmm….so good!!! Thank you Tia Celia and Atsuko for the cakes and also to Gloria for the scrumptious cookies!

Thank you, Tina from Tennessee, for the beautiful miniature roses and Daniel Flores, Jr. de California, for the chocolates! Thank you everyone for your love and friendship! I couldn't have asked for a better birthday celebration! God bless you all always! I love you all soooo very, very much!!!
